As your website grows, you may need more resources. Upgrading your BurjHost plan is simple and seamless.

When to Upgrade:

  • Your site is loading slowly.

  • You are receiving "resource limit reached" warnings.

  • You need more disk space or bandwidth.

  • You want to host additional websites.

  • You need advanced features like SSH or dedicated IP.

How to Upgrade:

  1. Log in to your BurjHost Client Area.

  2. Go to "Services" > "My Services."

  3. Click on the hosting account you want to upgrade.

  4. Look for the "Upgrade/Downgrade" button (usually in the "Management Actions" section).

  5. Select your new plan:

    • You can upgrade within the same category (e.g., Basic Shared to Premium Shared).

    • Or move to a different category (e.g., Shared to VPS).

  6. The system will calculate the pro-rated price difference—you only pay for the upgrade cost for the remainder of your current billing cycle.

  7. Complete the checkout process (if there is a charge).

What Happens Next?

  • In-category upgrades: Usually instant. Your account resources are updated without any downtime.

  • Cross-category upgrades (e.g., Shared to VPS): May require a migration. Our team will assist you in moving your site to the new server with minimal downtime.
