Cloudflare is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) that makes your website faster and more secure by caching your content on servers around the world. Many BurjHost plans offer Cloudflare integration directly in cPanel.
How to Enable Cloudflare:
-
Log in to your cPanel.
-
Look for the "Cloudflare" icon (often found in the "Software" or "Marketing" section, or as a dedicated section).
-
Click the icon. You will be guided through connecting your existing Cloudflare account or creating a new free one.
-
Follow the prompts to authorize the connection. cPanel will automatically configure your DNS settings to work with Cloudflare.
-
Once connected, you can control Cloudflare settings directly from your cPanel dashboard.
Manual Setup (Alternative):
-
Sign up for a free account at Cloudflare.com.
-
Add your domain and let Cloudflare scan your DNS records.
-
Change your nameservers at your domain registrar to the ones provided by Cloudflare.
-
Wait for propagation. Cloudflare will then manage your traffic.
Benefit: Cloudflare not only speeds up your site but also protects your server IP address from attackers.
