If you registered your domain elsewhere (like GoDaddy or Namecheap) but want to manage it from your BurjHost account, you can transfer it. This consolidates your billing and management.

Prerequisites:

  • The domain must be at least 60 days old.

  • You need the EPP Code (Authorization Code) from your current registrar.

Step-by-Step Transfer Guide:

  1. Unlock the Domain: Log in to your current registrar and unlock the domain.

  2. Get the EPP Code: Request the EPP/Authorization code from your current registrar.

  3. Initiate Transfer: On BurjHost, go to the "Domains" section and click "Transfer a Domain" .

  4. Enter Domain & Code: Type your domain name and paste the EPP code.

  5. Complete Payment: Domains require a 1-year renewal upon transfer (this extends your registration by one year).

  6. Approve Transfer: You will receive an email from your old registrar asking you to approve the transfer. Approve it to speed up the process (otherwise, it takes 5-7 days to auto-approve).

Once complete, your domain will be fully managed from your BurjHost account.
