When you first log in to cPanel, you might feel overwhelmed by all the icons. Don't worry—they are grouped logically. Here is a tour of the main sections.

1. Search Bar (Top Right)
The most useful feature! If you can't find an icon, just type what you need (e.g., "backup," "email," "SSL") and cPanel will show you the right tool.

2. Statistics Sidebar (Right Side)
This panel shows you important information at a glance:

  • Disk Space Usage: How much storage you are using.

  • Bandwidth: Data transfer for the month.

  • MySQL Databases: Number of databases.

  • Email Accounts: Number of email accounts.

  • Server Information: Hosting package, shared IP address.

3. Main Sections (Left/Center)
Icons are grouped by function:

  • Files: File Manager, Backups, Disk Usage. This is where you manage your website files.

  • Databases: phpMyAdmin, MySQL Databases. For managing your site's data.

  • Email: Email Accounts, Forwarders, Autoresponders. For managing professional email.

  • Metrics: Visitor statistics, error logs, resource usage.

  • Security: SSL/TLS, IP Blocker, Two-Factor Authentication.

  • Domains: Zone Editor, Addon Domains, Subdomains.

  • Software: Softaculous (one-click installer), PHP version selector.

Take some time to explore. The search bar is your best friend when you're unsure where something is.
